Kathmandu: Chameera Munasinghe, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Sri Lanka to Nepal, attended the 55th Anniversary Celebration of the Young Men’s Buddhist Association, Nepal (YMBA), held in Lalitpur on August 2.
The event served as a platform to honor the shared Buddhist heritage of Sri Lanka and Nepal and to further strengthen the spiritual and cultural ties between the two countries. Moreover, it reaffirmed the mutual commitment to the teachings of the Buddha, with emphasis on peace, compassion, and wisdom.
