Kathmandu: Anura Kumara Dissanayake, President of Sri Lanka, congratulated Balen Shah on behalf of the people of Sri Lanka on being sworn in as the Prime Minister of Nepal.
He said that Shah’s historic ascent reflects a new era of democratic engagement and the rising influence of the next generation. He also said that they look forward to a period of enhanced cooperation between Sri Lanka and Nepal, grounded in shared values of progress and regional stability.
