Kathmandu: Danielle Meuwly, Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, met with acclaimed filmmaker Min Bahadur Bhamto to discuss the growing cinematic ties between Switzerland and Nepal.
As a visionary storyteller, Bham’s work has long found a home at Swiss film festivals. This year is particularly special, as the 40th anniversary edition of the Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF) featured two of his foundational works, The Black Hen (Kalo Pothi) and Bansulli.
The Swiss Embassy stated that they are proud to continue its support of Nepali cinema and celebrate the international success of remarkable works like Shambhala on the global stage.
