Thai Air Asia to Resume Bangkok-Bhairahawa Flights from October

The airline had suspended its Bangkok-Bhairahawa flights in March due to low passenger numbers.

KATHMANDU: Thai Air Asia is set to resume commercial flights from Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) in Bhairahawa starting October 26, 2025.

The airline had suspended its Bangkok-Bhairahawa flights in March due to low passenger numbers. Universal Tour and Travels, the official General Sales Agent (GSA) of Thai Air Asia for Nepal, has announced that ticket bookings for the two-way flights have now opened. The round-trip fare is set at approximately Rs 24,000.

“We had previously operated two-way flights on this route but had to suspend them due to low demand,” said an employee of the company. “Flights will resume from October 26, and ticket bookings are now available.”

Thai Air Asia plans to operate regular commercial flights between October and April.
