Kathmandu: Thailand has reaffirmed its commitment to support Nepal’s ongoing development endeavors.
Speaking at a program organised in Kathmandu on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand on December 2, Charge d’ Affaires of Thailand to Nepal, Manusavee Monsakul, said Thailand would continue to extend assistance “to the best of its ability.”
Monsakul highlighted that the shared Buddhist heritage between Nepal and Thailand has helped deepen people-to-people relations. She noted that Thailand has been providing significant support to Nepal’s agricultural sector, including recent training for Nepali farmers on organic farming.
The event was attended by Officiating Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Krishna Prasad Dhakal, heads and officials of various diplomatic missions, Thai nationals living in Nepal, entrepreneurs, business representatives, and senior journalists.
