Kathmandu: It has been decided to send a Nepali delegation under the leadership of Hon. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal to participate in the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations to be held in New York, USA. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday approved the proposal to send a Nepali delegation led by Foreign Minister Khanal for Nepal’s participation in the General Assembly. Nepal became a member of the United Nations in 1955. Since then, Nepal has been regularly participating in the United Nations General Assembly.
