Kathmandu: Two Nepali nationals, Jay Prakash Sah of Rautahat and Sandesh KC of Baglung, who were detained at the Ukrainian border, are being rescued and brought back to Nepal this afternoon with the coordination and initiative of the Embassy of Nepal in Berlin.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed gratitude to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRN) Germany, and other stakeholders for their assistance in the rescue operation.
MoFA has reminded all Nepalis traveling abroad to comply fully with the immigration and legal requirements of the respective country, warning that violations could lead to arrest, long-term detention, or serious risks to life. The ministry also urged citizens to remain cautious against temptations and deceptions while traveling overseas.
