Kathmandu: The U.S. Embassy Nepal is accelerating the growth of Nepal’s creative economy as Creator’s Mela 2026: Vision to Venture starts on January 30 in Kathmandu with a two-day edition, following earlier programs held in Chitwan and Nepalgunj as part of a multi-city platform aimed at strengthening Nepal’s digital creator ecosystem.

The Kathmandu edition brings together creators, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and corporate decision-makers for two days of panel discussions, spotlight conversations, hands-on workshops, live performances, and networking opportunities designed to transform creative passion into sustainable businesses.

A key highlight of the Kathmandu program is the flagship Pitch to Success platform, where selected creators will present their business ideas directly to a panel of Nepal’s leading corporate executives, receiving real-time feedback, mentorship, and strategic guidance to scale their ventures.
The 2026 theme, Vision to Venture, reflects the program’s shift from content creation to enterprise building. By integrating U.S. expertise in technology, platform monetization, and digital business development, Creator’s Mela provides creators with a practical roadmap to grow their influence into long-term careers and commercially viable businesses.

The Kathmandu edition of Creator’s Mela 2026 features a diverse lineup of speakers and performers, including Cabinet Shrestha, Anand Bagaria, Ashwin Neupane, Mansi Agrawal, Kabita Nepali, Ujan Shakya, and singer Neetesh Jung Kumar, bringing together voices from entertainment, digital content, entrepreneurship, and business leadership.

Friday´s Creator’s Mela in Kathmandu saw participation from around 11,000 aspiring and emerging content creators, underscoring the growing momentum of Nepal’s digital creative community.
