Kathmandu: The United States Embassy Nepal, in collaboration with Aadyanta Advisory, has launched the six-month Code for Impact: United States–Nepal Tech Innovation Hackathon series in Butwal, aiming to transform coding ideas into technology-driven solutions.
From January 18 to February 6, the hackathon will travel to Pokhara, Dhangadi, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Surkhet, and Kathmandu, engaging more than 175 students, professionals, and entrepreneurs.
The program connects participants with expert mentors, seed funding, and opportunities to develop, test, and refine solutions to real-world challenges. Participants will pitch their prototypes to expert judges while benefiting from American mentorship, technologies, and open APIs.
Moreover, the initiative seeks to strengthen Nepal’s innovation ecosystem and unlock market expansion opportunities for U.S. technology companies.
