Kathmandu: In an initiative to bolster Nepal’s cyber defense capabilities, Arrownex, a leading UAE-based cybersecurity firm, joined forces with Nepal’s Danphelink to host CYBERVISION25 – Nepal Chapter at Hotel Shanker, Kathmandu. Supported by Ncell Business and WithSecure, the event highlighted the growing digital cooperation between the UAE and Nepal.
The program, held on August 8, commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed Juma Al Muhairi, Deputy Chief of Mission of the UAE Embassy in Kathmandu, symbolizing the spirit of collaboration and shared progress. The UAE representative followed with an inspiring speech emphasizing the significance of building secure and resilient digital ecosystems.
Showcasing the UAE’s leadership in advanced cyber technologies, the Arrownex team demonstrated cutting-edge solutions in cyber resilience, digital forensics, and emerging tech security. The highlight of the event was the announcement of Nepal’s first-ever Security Operations Center (SOC) and Network Operations Center (NOC)—a visionary project spearheaded by Arrownex aimed at establishing Nepal as a regional cyber defense hub.
The UAE Embassy representative praised the partnership, stating, “The UAE sees digital resilience not just as a technological imperative, but as a shared responsibility among nations. This collaboration reflects our commitment to building secure, innovative, and sustainable digital futures together.”
The event gathered senior Nepali officials, including the Deputy Inspector General of the Nepal Police Cyber Bureau, alongside industry leaders and technology professionals, further reinforcing the UAE’s role as a trusted partner in Nepal’s digital transformation journey.
