Kathmandu: On National Conservation Day, the UK embassy in Nepal remembered the national and international conservation heroes who lost their lives 20 years ago in Ghunsa in Taplejung district.
Ambassador Rob Fenn earlier joined local partners and volunteers to clean Ghunsa Memorial Park in Kathmandu which is dedicated to those conservation heroes. The embassy honored their legacy and reaffirmed embassy’s commitment to working with Nepal to protect nature, biodiversity and communities for future generations.
