Kathmandu: Minister for Veterans and People, Calvin Bailey MBE MP, held a courtesy meeting with Nepali Army Chief of Staff, General Ashok Raj Sigdel. They discussed the historic friendship between the United Kingdom and Nepal and the strong people-to-people connections.
“We will always be partners,” said the Minister. He also applauded the resilience shown by the Nepali people following the Rasuwa Bhotekoshi floods. The UK is supporting Nepal’s response and recovery efforts by working with trusted partners.
