Kathmandu: Lok Bahadur Thapa, President of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), held a productive meeting with Annalena Baerbock, President of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA), on October 10.
The two leaders discussed ways to enhance collaboration between ECOSOC and the UNGA and exchanged views on shared global priorities.
President Thapa also highlighted his 2026 priorities, which include food security, digital inclusion, climate resilience, and financing for development.
