Kathmandu: UN ECOSOC President Lok Bahadur Thapa received Professor Al-Nabulsi, Chair of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS).
President Thapa thanked Professor Al-Nabulsi for his leadership and the CFS’s valuable contributions to the 2026( HLPF).
President Thapa and Professor Al-Nabulsi discussed strengthening resilient, inclusive and sustainable agrifood systems, advancing policy coherence, leveraging AI and technology for food security, and deepening ECOSOC-CFS collaboration in support of the SDGs.
