Kathmandu: UN Resident Coordinator in Nepal, Hanaa Singer-Hamdy, met with leaders from Nepal’s private sector to discuss recovery, governance, and the country’s graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) status.
She noted the private sector’s resilience despite recent shocks and highlighted their commitment to responsible business practices, digital transformation, and creating opportunities for youth. Singer-Hamdy reiterated that the United Nations in Nepal stands as a strong partner in advancing sustainable development and youth employment.
