Kathmandu: Following the recent protest in Nepal, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Nepal, Hanaa Singer-Hamdy, visited the National Trauma Centre, Civil Hospital, Patan Academy of Health Sciences, and the Teaching Hospital on September 17.
Sharing her experience on social media, Singer-Hamdy highlighted the commitment of health workers who have been working under immense pressure. “I saw the extraordinary dedication of doctors and nurses at Trauma Centre, Civil, Patan, and Teaching Hospitals, with 36-hour shifts, countless surgeries, and countless lives saved,” she said.
She further emphasised that while their efforts may not always reach the headlines, these medical professionals remain the unsung heroes in times of crisis.
