Kathmandu: UNDP Nepal Resident Representative Kyoko Yokosuka visited a Tuberculosis (TB) Active Case Finding (ACF) camp organized by JANTRA Nepal to reach high-risk and hard-to-reach communities.
The camp was held at the Urban Health Clinic in Ward No. 4, Lolang Height, Tarkeshowre Municipality, and focused on identifying TB cases through hotspot mapping based on local prevalence.
The ACF camp was conducted in coordination with district and local health authorities, with support from Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) and other stakeholders. During the visit, Yokosuka engaged in discussions on progress, challenges, and opportunities in Nepal’s evolving TB response.
