Kathmandu: UNFPA in Nepal has deployed a mobile medical team on the ground in Nuwakot. Equipped with a medical doctor and trained nurses, the mobile camp is working around the clock to deliver lifesaving sexual and reproductive and emotional healthcare, along with other services.
Recognizing that disasters cause deep emotional distress, UNFPA Nepal team is also providing specialized trauma care, psychosocial counselling, and reproductive health guidance directly to affected women and adolescent girls.
