Kathmandu: UNFPA Representative for Nepal, Sriram Haridass traveled to Nuwakot to visit some of the UNFPA services sites for affected communities. Haridass met with survivors who shared their gratitude for the safe spaces created for them for having somewhere to feel secure, cared for, and heard.
He also met the service providers who have been on the ground since day one: health service providers, counselors, and outreach workers running the Women-Friendly Spaces and Mobile Health Teams, reaching communities cut off by destroyed roads and bridges.
