Kathmandu: The President of the United Nations General Assembly, Annalena Baerbock, held her second regular meeting with Lok Bahadur Thapa, President of ECOSOC, on December 2.
The meeting took place as mandated by the resolution on revitalizing the work of the General Assembly.
Their discussions focused on follow-up actions to the World Summit for Social Development and the Sevilla Commitment, the upcoming UN event calendar, and the process for selecting the next UN Secretary-General.
