Kathmandu: The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Deputy Executive Director, Ted Chaiban, on his first day in Nepal, met with Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba and Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Paudel.
During the meetings, Chaiban reaffirmed UNICEF’s strong partnership with the Government of Nepal, underscoring the organisation’s continued commitment to supporting Nepal in advancing child health, education, and overall well-being.
Chaiban also interacted with the UNICEF Nepal team, commending their dedication to delivering results for children nationwide, from responding to emergencies to driving long-term development initiatives.
