Kathmandu: UNICEF Nepal and the Embassy of Finland on August 11 took on the focal and co-focal roles for development partners supporting Nepal’s School Education Sector Plan following the handover from the Delegation of the European Union to Nepal and FCDO Nepal.
This marks a renewed commitment to work together with the Government of Nepal to help every child get the chance to learn, grow and succeed.
According to UNICEF Nepal and Embassy of Finland they, together with education partners, will continue the collective action to help children build strong reading and numeracy skills,
make schools more inclusive and accessible, especially for children with disabilities and those who are out of school, improve the use of digital tools and education data and strengthen education planning and services at provincial and local levels, among others.
