Kathmandu: US Charge d’Affairs a.i. Megan Boudlin met with U.S. company Bell Textron to discuss progress in the U.S. Government-funded additions to the Nepal Army’s Bell helicopter fleet. The United States has been working works closely with the Government of Nepal on identifying and expanding capacity for disaster response and lifesaving missions.
Since August 26, the United States has committed more than $36 million in humanitarian, health, and other disaster response assistance.
