Kathmandu: US Ambassador to Nepal Dean R. Thompson paid a farewell visit to President Ram Chandra Paudel on January 8.
During the meeting held at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, the two discussed Nepal–US relations as well as matters of mutual interest and concern, according to the Office of the President. Thompson has been serving as the US Ambassador to Nepal since October 2022.
