Kathmandu: The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the United States of America to Nepal, Scott Urbom, met with the USA Women’s Cricket Team in Nepal during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers, ahead of their match against Ireland.
Team USA is set to play against Papua New Guinea (PNG) on January 26, continuing their run in the qualifiers. Moreover, the meeting highlighted sports diplomacy as Team USA continues to represent its nation on the international stage.
