WFP, NDRRMA Holds Discussion to Strengthen National Preparedness

Kathmandu: The Country Director and Representative of the World Food Programme (WFP) to Nepal, Riaz Lodhi, held a meeting with Dinesh Prasad Bhatt, the Chief Executive of National Disaster Risk Reduction And Management Authority (NDRRMA).

During the meeting, they held discussion on strengthening national emergency preparedness and shock-responsive social protection, through joint relief efforts.

Moreover, both organizations working alongside the government of Nepal, remain committed to building stronger system for early warning for all.
