Kathmandu: Riaz Lodhi, Country Director of the World Food Programme (WFP) in Nepal, has emphasized that good nutrition is the foundation of quality education.
In a social media post, Lodhi said WFP Nepal field teams recently came together to explore how integrated programming and innovation can strengthen Home-Grown School Feeding, linking education, nutrition, resilience, and local economies. He said that the initiative is timely as Nepal moves into 2026.
