Kathmandu: The World Food Programme (WFP) Nepal has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Government of Nepal in strengthening food systems through technical expertise and evidence-based approaches.
In a meeting with Prof. Shivaraj Adhikari, Vice Chair of the National Planning Commission (NPC), WFP representative Riaz Lodhi discussed the importance of developing smart, local solutions to address Nepal’s complex food security challenges.
The discussion highlighted areas of collaboration between WFP and NPC, with a shared focus on improving food systems, ensuring nutrition security, and advancing sustainable development.
