Workshop on Nepal’s Export Trade Held in Kathmandu

Kathmandu:  An interactive workshop titled “Export Trade of Nepal: Status, Challenges and Opportunities” was held in Kathmandu on June 22, bringing together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors.

The event was inaugurated by Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and featured participants from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies (MoICS), Trade and Export Promotion Centre (TEPC), Honorary Consuls General of Nepal abroad, Consuls in Nepal, as well as representatives from FNCCI, FEEN, and FHAN.

In his address, Rai emphasized the importance of enhancing finance, trade facilitation, technology transfer, and capacity building to strengthen Nepal’s export sector. The workshop served as a platform for collaborative discussion aimed at promoting and expanding Nepal’s international trade.
