Kathmandu: The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Kathmandu has expressed its sincere appreciation to Zenith Travels Pvt. Ltd., the General Sales Agent for Sri Lankan Airlines in Nepal, for contributing Rs 500,000 to support ongoing flood-relief and recovery efforts in Sri Lanka.
The Embassy also acknowledged the support of Joy Dewan, Managing Director of Zenith Travels and President of the Nepal–Sri Lanka Friendship Association, for facilitating the donation and for his continued efforts to strengthen bilateral ties.
The Embassy said the generous contribution reflects the strong people-to-people connections and longstanding friendship between Nepal and Sri Lanka.
The donation was handed over to the Sri Lankan Embassy on December 2.
