KATHMANDU: Amit Pratap Shah, Advisor for International Affairs and Co-chair of the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce, has been recognized by New York Governor Kathy Hochul for his dedicated service to the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community during the Asian American Heritage Month Celebration 2025.
Shah expressed deep gratitude for the honor, which acknowledged his efforts in uplifting immigrant entrepreneurs, promoting cultural advocacy, and advancing economic empowerment. He described the recognition as a powerful reminder of the impact of purposeful service and inclusive leadership.
“This letter is more than just words; it’s a reminder that when we serve with purpose, lead with compassion, and stay true to our roots, change happens,” Shah said. He also extended the honor to all those working toward a more inclusive New York.
