Kathmandu: WFP Nepal launched the report ‘The Journey of Nepal’s National Mid-Day Meals Programme’ on July 28. This publication chronicles more than six decades of Nepal’s commitment to children and education, tracing the evolution of a school meals programme that began in 1967 into a fully nationally owned and funded initiative reaching nearly 3 million children across all 77 districts.
