Kathmandu: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal held a courtesy meeting with Siti Arnifrizah binti Haji Mohammad Zaini, Brunei Darussalam’s newly appointed non-resident Ambassador to Nepal, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday.
During the meeting, Minister Khanal congratulated Ambassador Zaini on her appointment and wished her a successful tenure.
The two sides exchanged views on ways to further strengthen the longstanding friendly relations between Nepal and Brunei Darussalam, and enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
They also discussed opportunities to expand engagement and deepen collaboration between the two countries in the coming years.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of Nepal and Brunei Darussalam to maintaining their friendly ties and exploring avenues for closer bilateral cooperation.
