KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has departed for India on a three-day personal and family pilgrimage, according to a press statement released by his private secretariat.
The RSP chief is traveling alongside his family to perform religious rituals at key spiritual destinations in northern and northeastern India. His itinerary includes visits to the Kainchi Dham ashram in Nainital, Uttarakhand, followed by prayers at the historic Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati, Assam.
According to the statement, Lamichhane’s route takes him through Dhangadhi in western Nepal before crossing into India. The party’s secretariat emphasized that the trip is purely spiritual and personal in nature, dismissing any political motives surrounding the visit.
Chairman Lamichhane is scheduled to return to Nepal immediately after concluding his three-day pilgrimage.
