Kathmandu: On International Youth Day, the German delegation visited the Kathmandu Pragya Kunja School, a partner institution under Goethe-Zentrum Kathmandu’s BKD network. The BKD initiative (Bildungskooperation Deutsch), which translates to Educational Cooperation German, supports local schools, teachers, and educational authorities to promote high-quality German language instruction across Nepal.
The students of the school showcased extraordinary talents from breathtaking orchestral renditions of Beethoven alongside both the German and Nepali national anthems on violins, guitars, and flutes, to a lively Bavarian dance and vibrant recitals of German poetry. The German delegation gave a huge shoutout to the students who creatively shared their German learning journey through a fun, interactive performance, as well as the impressive exhibition highlighting German history, sports, iconic brands, and culture.
