DPR Magar Speaks at the Ministerial Roundtable of the Informal Meeting

Kathmandu: Ambassador Gyan Bahadur Magar, Deputy Permanent Representative of Nepal to Geneva, spoke at the Ministerial Roundtable of the Informal Meeting of the UN General Assembly on Taking Stock of Pact for The Future. He underscored the Pact’s enduring relevance in strengthening global partnerships and accelerating the SDGs while highlighting Nepal’s progress, innovative approaches, and structural constraints across the SDGs under HLPF2026 review.

To turn the Pact’s promises into action, DPR Magar called for greater access to concessional SDG financing, technology transfer, debt sustainability measures, investment in human capital, accelerated green industrialization and digital transformation, and global governance reforms that respond to today’s interconnected challenges.
