Kathmandu: The Embassy of India held the 11th meeting of the India-Nepal Joint Committee on Kosi and Gandak Projects in Kathmandu from April 30 to May 1.
The Indian delegation was led by Shri Santosh Kumar Mall, Principal Secretary of the Water Resource Department for the Government of Bihar, and the Nepali delegation was led by Mitra Baral, Director General of the Department of Irrigation for the Government of Nepal. The meeting comprehensively reviewed India-Nepal cooperation in Kosi and Gandak projects and created a future roadmap for further cooperation including in flood control and irrigation.
