Kathmandu: At Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, Mohd Firdaus bin Azman, Acting Ambassador of Malaysia to Nepal, paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Mr. Ramjee Yadav, Minister of Youth, Labour and Employment of Nepal.
During the cordial meeting, both sides exchanged views on issues related to the safe recruitment and employment of Nepali workers in Malaysia, the safeguarding of their safety, welfare and well-being, efforts to enhance skills and upskill Nepali workers to meet evolving industry demands, consular matters as well as various issues of mutual interests.
The discussions reflected the shared commitment of Malaysia and Nepal to ensuring that labour mobility continues to be safe, orderly and mutually beneficial, while fostering closer people-to-people ties between the two friendly nations.
