Kathmandu: At the 38th FAO Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific, Gita Chaudhary, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development of Nepal, delivered Nepal’s country statement during the High-Level Ministerial Session on “Prioritization of country and regional needs.”
In her remarks, Minister Chaudhary highlighted Nepal’s priorities for agrifood systems transformation, emphasizing climate resilience, mountain agriculture, youth engagement, women farmers, sustainable land use, and stronger regional cooperation to address shared challenges across Asia and the Pacific.
