Kathmandu: Association of International NGOs (AIN) organized the Development Dialogue in Lalitpur. The dialogue was participated by the United Nations in Nepal which commemorated three decades of partnership, collaboration, and shared accomplishments.
Speaking on behalf of the UN Resident Coordinator, Mr. Ken Shimizu, FAO Representative for Nepal and Bhutan, highlighted Nepal’s remarkable development progress across sectors, reducing poverty and hunger while improving agriculture, health, education, WASH, and emergency response systems.
FAO Nepal stated that these achievements reflect better food security, expanded basic services, and strengthened resilience against disasters, contributing to more inclusive and sustainable development outcomes.
