Kathmandu: The Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan, Rita Dhital, met with Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, at the Parliament House in Islamabad.
They both discussed ways to strengthen Nepal-Pakistan relations, particularly in economic and parliamentary cooperation.
According to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), Speaker Sadiq underscored opportunities in trade, investment, and tourism, and stressed the importance of activating Parliamentary Friendship Groups and exchanging delegations to deepen bilateral understanding.
Ambassador Dhital appreciated the cordial relations between Nepal and Pakistan and expressed Nepal’s resolve to expand cooperation, particularly in trade and tourism. She further noted that closer ties between the two nations would be mutually beneficial and contribute to regional progress.
