Kathmandu: Sewa Lamsal, Ambassador of Nepal to BENELUX countries, participated in an event entitled ‘the Brussels Dialogue on the Road UNCCDCOP17’. The event was jointly organized by the Government of Mongolia, European Union and United Nations ahead of the 100-days timeline. The Conference will be held on 17-28 August 2026 in the theme, “Restoring Land, Restoring Hope”.
Ambassador Lamsal congratulated the hosts for the timely event, underlined that all COPs should be aligning for better outcomes, expressed hope for the success of UNCCDCOP17 and committed Nepal’s continued support in this important process.
