Kathmandu: With the signing of the Agreement on the Swiss Contribution to the Municipal Revenue Enhancement Project (MunRev), Switzerland and Nepal marked a key moment on June 12.
The agreement was signed by H.E. Danielle Meuwly, Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, and Dhani Ram Sharma, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Finance. The Embassy stated that through MunRev Switzerland supports local governments in strengthening their own-source revenue systems, enabling them to deliver improved, inclusive, and responsive public services that better meet the needs of citizens.
