Kathmandu: Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Ghanashyam Bhandari delivered a lecture on ‘Contemporary Nepal: Its Foreign Policy, Security and Development Dimensions, and Nepal-Bangladesh Relations’ to the participants of NDC-2026 course at the National Defence College, Dhaka, this morning.
In his lecture, the Ambassador shed light on the evolution of Nepal’s foreign policy, its diplomatic engagements, and national security policy. Ambassador Bhandari also highlighted Nepal’s development priorities and ongoing initiatives aimed at advancing socio-economic transformation and sustainable development.
He further shared his reflections on the strong and steadily evolving Nepal-Bangladesh relations, characterizing it as an exemplary neighbourly friendship built on mutual trust, goodwill, and cooperation. The lecture was followed by an interactive Q&A session, during which the Ambassador addressed a wide range of questions from the participants.
