Kathmandu: Ambassador of Australia to Nepal, H.E. Simon Ernst, and his wife, Simone Murphy, recently participated in the annual rice planting festival Ropain.
The Australian Embassy stated a bit of hard, muddy work accompanied by the best Newari food and drink and wonderful company.
Likewise, British Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. Rob Fenn shared his experience of Nepali agriculture by participating in paddy planting in Lalitpur last week.
