Kathmandu: Simon Ernst, Ambassador of Australia to Nepal, made his first visit to Madesh Province where he met the Chief Minister, Krishna Prasad Yadav. They had a warm and engaging discussion on Madhesh’s development priorities and challenges.
Ambassador Ernst also met with Mahendra Mahato, Mayor of Mithila Municipality, and Prahlad Kumar Chettri, Mayor of Bardibas Municipality, where DFAT-supported programs are being implemented in partnership with The Asia Foundation and ICIMOD.
