Kathmandu: Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, welcomed a group of artists and painters from Bangladesh and Nepal who participated in the International Art Camp 2025, titled “Dreamscape 2025”, held at the Nepal Art Center in Kathmandu.
The delegation included Touhid Ullah, President of Zobra the Art Village; Rubina Nargis, freelance artist; Roksana Iqbal, CEO and Director of Career Stride Bangladesh; and. Shamina Anam Poly from Bangladesh, along with Kishor Nakarmu and Kaji Shrestha from Nepal.
During the meeting, the artists shared their experiences from the Art Camp and proposed organizing a similar event in Bangladesh with participation from Nepali artists.
Ambassador Rahman thanked the organizers and participants for their contribution to strengthening Bangladesh–Nepal relations through art and cultural exchange. He noted that such initiatives foster people-to-people connections and enhance mutual understanding between the two countries.
The Art Camp featured the artworks and paintings of 20 Bangladeshi artists, showcasing creativity and collaboration across borders.
