Kathmandu: Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal, Md Shafiqur Rahman, welcomed Prof. Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha at the Bangladesh Embassy on November 24.
Prof. Dr. Jha, a renowned radiation oncologist and a pioneer in cancer care in Nepal, has recently been appointed as the Chairperson of Nepal’s Medical Education Commission. He is also an alumnus of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College in Sylhet, Bangladesh.
The meeting highlighted the long-standing educational ties between Nepal and Bangladesh and recognized Prof. Dr. Jha’s contributions to medical science and education.
