Kathmandu: The Bangladesh Embassy hosted a Meet and Greet: A B2B Meeting in the Embassy premises in Kathmandu on May 8. Shafiqur Rahman, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, welcomed business representatives from 24 different Bangladeshi enterprises participating in the South Asia Trade Fair 2026 and renowned Nepali entrepreneurs and business leaders. The Nepali business delegates included the President of the Federation of Handicraft Association of Nepal and the representative from Bangladesh-Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Later, the businessmen from the two countries joined a fruitful business-to-Business (B2B) meeting. Organized by the Embassy, the meeting provided an important platform for connecting, networking, engaging in business talks and exploring new avenues of trade and investment cooperation between Bangladesh and Nepal.
The Embassy stated that the interactive discussions helped strengthen bridges between the business communities of the two friendly countries and highlighted the growing potential for bilateral commercial partnership, regional connectivity, and economic collaboration.
The Embassy further stated that they remain committed to facilitating stronger business linkages and promoting mutually beneficial trade and investment opportunities between Bangladesh and Nepal.
