Kathmandu: The Bangladeshi Ambassador to Nepal, Md. Shafiqur Rahman held a meeting with Petri Puhakka, Ambassador of Finland to Nepal, on October 13.
During the meeting, the two ambassadors exchanged views on areas of mutual bilateral interest, including collaboration in education, human resource employment in agriculture, forestry, food processing, as well as the deployment of nurses and medical technicians.
“It may be noted that Finland is the fourth largest knowledge economy in Europe which is highly integrated in the global economy and is known for transparency and accountability in its governance and management. It is currently ranked 7th in the Global Innovation Index in 2023 down from the 2nd in 2018,” the Embassy of Bangladesh in Nepal mentioned in a social media post.
